WeGO, together with its President City Seoul, are launching the Seoul Smart City Prize which is designed to promote and champion the people-centered digital transformation that is geared towards providing more accessible services for all citizens.
The Seoul Smart City Prize focuses on identifying the exemplary models of city governments as well as individual, corporate, and institutional efforts in ensuring an inclusive digitalization of public services that benefit all people in sectors ranging from mobility, safety, welfare, environment, energy, culture, and governance.
Projects that focus on integration of innovative policies and technologies in all sectors of society and domains ranging from sustainable environment, culture, and governance. The core value is ‘technology and beyond’.
Projects that are designed to prioritize digital inclusion in smart city development, thereby overcoming or mitigating the digital divide, and that aim to serve specific target groups among the citizen population, such as the elderly, youth, and the disabled. The core value is ‘accompanying the vulnerables’.
Individuals that have demonstrated leadership in developing or promoting the innovative use of technology and data to impact the lives of global citizens.
